Circle 8 welcomes Jim Howard from Oklahoma City to share his great calling to our dancing guests. Joe Dawley will certainly entertain with a variety of rounds and lines.

Rounds and lines start at 6:30 with Joe. Square dancing begins at 7pm.

Also at this dance, Circle 8 is selling a nice variety of buckles, ties and a belt in a silent auction.

April 5-6, 2019 – Wichita Spring Festival

April 5 and 6 is a Wichita Spring Festival you won’t want to miss. Featured caller and cuers are Tony Oxendine for Square dancing and Fred and Cathy Fisher for Rounds. Both are excellent talent to keep us on our feet.

Friday, April 5 will have our local talented callers and cuers, with Saturday, April 6 having the national talent. You can access the flyer and registration form here .

For those that are into Advanced dancing, Tony will stay over on Sunday, April 7 for an afternoon of exceptional advanced dancing (A1/A2), starting at 2:00pm at the Tri-City Senior center in Park City, KS.

March 24, 2019 – Tammy Gough/Jeanne Shane

Join us for this very special dance as we honor Jeanne Shane for one last round. Jeanne is retiring from many years of Round dance cueing and this is her last dance.

March 10, 2019 – Jonathan Marshall and Kevin Denning

Please join Circle 8 as we welcome Jonathan Marshall from Oklahoma City for a great night of Square Dancing and wonderful music. If you have not heard or listened to Jonathan, you are in for a treat.

Kevin will cue a great selection of local favorites with Two Step, Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Foxtrot and maybe even a Jive or two.

Pre-Rounds begin at 6:30, with Square Dancing beginning at 7:00pm at Park City, Kansas at the Tri-City Senior Center.

Join Circle 8 at 7pm in Park City, Kansas (North Wichita) for a fun evening with Scott Bennett from Lawton, OK as he shares his personal classics with us. Terry Lewis will be cueing rounds starting at 6:30 pm for everyone’s dancing pleasure. Scott always provides an enthusiastic dance environment.

January 13, 2019 – WASDCA Fundraiser Dance

We welcome all Square and Round Dancers to our annual WASDCA (Wichita Area Square Dance Callers Association) fundraiser dance. This is our opportunity for Circle 8 to contribute our dance proceeds to the callers and cuers who graciously share their time and talents to our Square Dance community. We invite all area callers and cuers to share their evening with us.

Join us on January 13, 2019 at 6:30pm for Rounds and 7:00pm for Squares. This will also be our only dance in January, as we will support the KSDA January Membership dance on January 27 in Salina, Ks.

December 31, 2018 – Annual New Year Eve Dance

Be sure to join Circle 8 for our Annual New Years Eve dance feature both Squares and Rounds.  David Myers will be cuing Rounds starting at 8:30pm.  Tammy Gough will be calling the Square Dance starting at 9:00pm.

In Circle 8 tradition, we will serve a nice breakfast into the New Year.
